Main scientific works devoted to elaborations of the theory of principles, methods and means of automatic control and diagnostics, increase of reliability and economical efficiency of electrical systems operation, efficient application of power resources and electrical and production equipment.
Was rewarded with the State prize of the Ukrainian SSR in the field of science and engineering in 1985, Order of the Badge of Honor in 1981, Honorary diplomat of Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR in 1978 and 1985, S.O. Lebedev prize of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR in 1995. In 2001 he was rewarded with the honorary title "Honored man of science and engineering"
