The main scientific works are devoted to development of the theory of multiphase electric circuits, investigation of the processes of conversion and stabilization of electromagnetic energy parameters creation of multiphase devices for optimization of power supply systems modes. He created a general theory of compensation devices of phase sequences of voltages and currents in multiphase circuits as to the problem of energy parameters stabilization in electrical systems with asymmetric and non-linear elements.

He was rewarded with the State prize of the Ukrainian SSR in the field of science and engineering in 1982, S.O. Lebedev prize of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR in 1986, Order of the Badge of Honor in 1983, medals. Order "For services" of the 3-rd class (1997), V.M. Khruschov prize of the NASU (1999). In 2000 he was rewarded with the honorary title "Honoured power engineer of Ukraine".
