He is a specialist in the field of simulation of heat and mass transfer processes in various fields of science and engineering, including objects of power engineering. The scientific activity is connected to theoretical and practical aspects of simulation of heat and mass transfer processes at research, optimization and identification of parameters of engineering systems and technological processes.

He has made the powerful contribution to the development of the so-called calculation and experimental approach for simulation and prediction of heat and mass transfer processes in various fields of application. This approach is based on heat and mass transfer inverse problem solution.

One of his last works is connected to the prediction of the physical and chemical processes in multilayer protective coatings of gas turbine blades with the purpose of estimation of their resource.

Author of 95 scientific works including 2 monographs.
