Graduated from Kiev Polytechnical Institute, received PhD in 1962, Doctoral Degree in 1972, both in Mechanical (Thermal) Engineering Field.

Research interests include: two–phase flow fundamentals, drying processes, industrial heat and mass tr., heat and mass transfer enhancement.

He is an author of 6 books, over 300 journal publications and some 100 patents of Ukraine and Russia.

Has twice been awarded with the State prize of the Ukraine in the field of science and engineering and also with many National awards including prizes of Academy of Sciences. He is a member of 4 international journals, editor- in- chief of the Journal “Promyshlennaya Teplotechnica” (“Industrial Heat Engineering”).
