Identify and develop new applications for Rolls-Royce gas turbines for power generation, combined heat and power, and marine applications, using natural gas, distillates, biomass, coal-derived fuels, and fuel cells. Earlier served as Program manager for the DOE Advanced Turbine Systems program.
Previous experience included Executive Director, Environmental Programs at Public Service Indiana (Cinergy), an electric utility, with responsibility for managing the development and implementation of corporate environmental policy. Prior to that, held various middle management positions at General Electric Company in advanced engineering, business and strategic planning, product support, product planning, and market research. Product line experience included aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines.

B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University, and Ph.D in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University.
