Identification of Thermophysical Parameters of Power Systems

The issues of classification of inverse problems, their
statement and methods of solution are considered. Special attention is paid to
the work of Ukrainian (and, in particular, of Kharkiv) heat physicists –
specialists in inverse heat transfer problems. The techniques of regularizing
the ill-posed problems solutions obtained and the problem of smoothening the
measurements are analyzed. Information about the implementation of the results
of solving boundary, internal, geometric and combined inverse problems when
investigating heat transfer in power machine building units, in production
processes and in electronic equipment is presented.
